Photographs are about making and recording memories. Capturing moments in time. Often they have very personal significance. Many times they can be shared, resonating with others. A personal moment can be elevated to iconic status. As per Henri Cartier-Bresson, the decisive moment is all important.
Transcribing our visual experience through the camera is an art. It’s probably a lifetime endeavour, but with effort all of us can make our lives, and this world, art to be appreciated by others.
